Zinc Details is the perfect meeting point between modern furniture and a Zen way of being. The result is more Pizzicato 5 than Greene & Greene playful and functional, with space-age sensibility. Originally a showcase for local designers and artisans, Zinc now stocks goods from all over the world, like those test tube-like vases by Parisian design team Tse & Tse. It wants to also carry more original vintage pieces, such as its teak sideboard with Danish lines. In other stores, the contrast between a tranquil Japanese-style fountain and a saturated red pendant lamp might be too wide, but here, it makes sense. God is definitely in the details.
