I walked into Aquarius Records, and I didn’t want to leave. This place oozes charm, with creaky hardwood floors, plants galore and a Pikachu piñata in the corner. Though mostly stocked with obscure tunes from genres such as krautrock, goth and e-music, a more than friendly proprietor and two whimsically tagged, 50+ CD listening stations keep you from feeling intimidated. Beyond both used and new CDs, LPs and EPs, you’ll also find t-shirts and a small selection of music videos to rent.
