Besides my beloved JBrand skinny jeggings I don’t really do jeans. I have loads of designer denim jeans in my closet such as Rag & Bone, Rich & Skinny, Hudson, and I never really wear them. I’m just not a denim kind of girl. And besides pinching in all of the wrong places I have a hard time finding jeans that don’t gap in the back.

At the Independent Fashion Blogger’s Evolving Influence Blogger Conference, held at the Milk Gallery I stopped by the Levi’s Curve booth. I was fitted for Curve ID Jeans by one of the friendly guy, whose name I can’t remember. But he is shown in the photo here. As you can see the measuring process to find my perfect fitting pair of jeans is quite an involved process. It involves much more than a singular measuring tape. There were multiple measurements involving wrapping, adjusting and more measuring. The concept of the Levi’s® Curve ID jean is the result of  3-D scans of over 60,000 women’s body shapes.  The result is a jean based on not your size, but your shape! So I find out that I am a demi-curve body type.

I went to the Levi’s store in the Meat Packing District, just a block away from The Standard Hotel to try on the actual jeans. The store was a pleasant surprise, hadn’t been to a Levi’s store in a a couple of years. It oozed Americana and Levi’s heritage brand experience. They even had items for Spring 2011 from their collaboration with Opening Ceremony which features a collection of Levi’s chambray fabric styled by Opening Ceremony. All I can say is aadooorable in sweet pastel tangerine and yellow chambray, mini dresses with full skirts and cropped puffed sleeve chambray short sleeve jackets. I choose the Levi’s Jeans, Demi Curve Skinny Vintage Night Dark Wash. I love love love these perfectly fitting jeans, that will only become more comfy with age. I’ve already worn them tucked into my Hunter Wellie boots and plan to wear them with my wedge ankle booties as well.

Pair these instant classic jeans with a pair of red Jimmy Choo “Quiet” patent leather pumps.

Looking buttoned up elegantly preppy, Nicky Hilton was spotted last week in the LoFli Blutac skinny jeans on her way to pick up a bite at a nearby restaurant. Nicky paired her LoFli jeans with a fabulous Balenciaga bag, classic button-down and flats.
